Cartoon of Prophet Muhammad with Bomb in Turban started it all

They should not have done it. Publishing a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb placed in his turbans. The publishers should have been more sensitive to the feelings of our Muslim brothers. But they pushed through with the publishing of the cartoon, thus triggering protests that turned deadly.

We can't blame our Muslim brothers for their reactions. What would have been the reaction of our Christian brothers if a newspaper runs a picture of Jesus Christ holding patriot missiles?

Demonstrations against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad by newspapers in Europe spread across Asia and the Middle East today, turning violent in Afghanistan, where at least four protesters were killed and over a dozen police officers and protesters injured.

The protests gained momentum all over the Muslim world, a day after attacks on the Danish consulate in Lebanon and the Danish and Norwegian Embassies in Damascus, Syria, on Saturday. Muslim clerics led demonstrations in half a dozen cities in Afghanistan, and protesters turned out in Indonesia, India, Thailand, Iran, and even in New Zealand, where local newspapers recently reprinted the offending cartoons.

As i've said, thus papers should have been more sensitive to the feelings of our Muslim brothers. Now we really can't blame our Muslim brothers for their reaction, no matter how violent it will be.

Biorhythm Shits

There was a radio broadcaster who keeps on telling his listeners to follow the biorhythm patterns in their day to day lives. In biorhythm, you will know the ups and downs of your emotions, physical attributes, intelligence etc. for a certain day. It shows you a graph with three interlapping curves that represent emotion, physical, and intelligence. If your curves go beyond zero, you have to be careful and avoid certain activities that involve the three attributes mentioned above.

A lot of his listeners called in to know their biorhythm for the day by giving their dates of birth.

All I can say is biorhythm is nothing but a piece of bullshit. There was one old woman who called in saying what her biorhythm was during that day because she just had a heated argument with her husband (emotion), she felt like she was very sick (physical), and couldn't finish the article she was writing (intelligence). Guess what? Her biorhythm for that day showed that her emotional, physical, and intellectual curves point to 100, the highest points in the graphs.

Fuck!

Look Ma, No More Spam Emails

AOL and Yahoo will soon introduce filtered emails to their subscribers. This means all emails will undergo a screening system where spams will be filtered, making sure that only certified emails will go to inboxes. Well, this is a good development especially that 80 percent of the emails we receive are freakin' spam from advertisers who do not know what ethical advertising is all about.

The downside of this filtered emails is that this will only be available for a fee. Others call this an email tax because we will be paying dollars to receive certified emails. And for sure, AOL and Yahoo will be earning big bucks out of this program.

Why can't they just give it out for free as a show of their effort to stamp out spams?

Money really is the root of all evil.
